Make a list of 'Things I haven't achieved yet'.

It is very common we get caught up in our head, forming an opinion and believing in what might not be the true or real.

We judge the situation or people by making interpretations, assuming something, believing what happened in the past will repeat itself, or are held with our own or societal limiting beliefs. One can say 'it is how it is, take it or leave it'. Well, what if it is all not as it seems? Want to explore how to liberate yourself, let nothing hold you back, to move forward, be fearless obtain all you want?

Starting with fear - Gremlin, that little voice inside our head that tells us we are not good enough, lies within each of us. Fundamentally like any fear it wants us to be safe and protected.

This voice in your head is personal, emotional and hard to ignore. It tells you you'll fail, so it blocks you from moving forward. Lets explore and see how to manage your gremlin/fear to get closer to the life and business results you dream of having.

What does Gremlin say

- You are not good enough to...

- Don't take the risk

- Always to take the safe road

- Compromise your life by playing small

- I don't want you to fail, be hurt, be embarrassed

- Who am I kidding, no matter how much I try, I'll never be able to...

- I don't deserve great success

- They are going to find out I am not as good as they think I am

- Identify it - if your voice is talking to your limitations, not your greatness, then it is THE Gremlin

- Hear what exactly is gremlin saying - note it

- Examine what you are thinking and feeling

- Decide what to say back at him when it shows up - 'Thank you for the warning, but it's ok'!

Questions for reflection

- How might your gremlin be holding you back now?

- When it shows up what is it trying to protect you from?

- If you recognise it in a particular situation what can you do to overcome it?

- What other blocks might be holding you back? Maybe the past experiences leading to assumptions and limiting beliefs that it will happen again, it is not possible because someone said so etc?


Do you recall a generalization, stereotype, or idea you learned and accepted about yourself, about the world, or about people that might be limiting you in some way? Parents, teachers, religion, society, books...form ideas and beliefs.


- Successful people are lucky

- Showing emotion is a sign of weakness

- Old habits are hard to break

- How true is that belief for you, really?

- Where did you learn that?

- What evidence do you have to support that belief?

- How would you like be different if you believed something else?

- How might that belief limit you?

Do you have a story, opinion, or judgment that you created about an event, situation, person, or experience and believe to be true?


If you stick to your interpretation, you have little of change focusing on any other possibility, feeling of control what happens next and energy is low.

- How true is it really?

- What is another way of looking at it?

- How do you know it is really true?

- What else might be going on?

- What would someone else say about what happened?


You are afraid history will repeat itself, have an expectation that, because something has happened in the past, it will happen again?

- Just because it happened in the past, why must it happen again?
